Announcing the winners of the 2022 Apple App Store Awards, BeReal has been named App of the Year

Apple has released its 2022 App Store Awards winners list highlighting the year’s top 15 apps and games across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV categories. The list includes new social media app BeReal, productivity tool GoodNotes 5, 3D family genealogy app MacFamilyTree 10, Latin American entertainment platform ViX, and exercise tracker Gentler Streak. The Cupertino tech giant has awarded Apex Legends Mobile, Moncage, Inscryption and El Hijo the best gaming titles on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV respectively.

The company’s pick list of the best apps and games of 2022 was announced on blog postAnd the apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement that all of the apps and games on the list “provided fresh, thoughtful, and real perspectives.”

In addition to these apps, Apple has ranked the best games available in the App Store. Apex Legends Mobile Awarded iPhone Game of the Year. Meanwhile, Moncage was named iPad Game of the Year.
