A surprisingly good and refreshing cocktail is all we need to end the hectic day (or week) in the company of our loved ones. You agree that not all bars do this properly in providing us with the flavors that we want in our drink. Diverse tastes – diverse preferences. But Virat Kohli’s One8 Commune restaurant in Aerocity, Delhi, has something for everyone. The extensive cocktail list will give you what you’re looking for – sweet, bitter, sour, sour et al. And now, the all-new Commune Specials menu offers a range of exquisitely crafted cocktails, to suit every mood.

If you prefer to indulge in some mouth-watering cocktails to unwind, heat up at One8 Commune. I had a relaxing evening and the lively atmosphere of the restaurant lifted my senses the moment I entered. A sumptuous outdoor seating area to enjoy the evening breeze, a cozy nook for heart-to-heart conversations, or a large table to celebrate with your gang – there are so many options to choose from. I sat in a cozy corner with my friends and before we knew it, our table was full of enticing cocktails and food.

for bourbon lovers, Sour marmalade smoke Great drink. A mix of bourbon, in-house marmalade and fresh pineapple, it’s the perfect blend of different flavors – smoky and tangy, sweet and tangy.

We also tried Jenny Blossom – Gin infused with chamomile, fresh green apple, peach and mint. As the ingredients would suggest, it was fruity with a tinge of chamomile flavor that balanced the flavors perfectly.
With my head already buzzing, I went to him berry saturated next one. The gin mixed with berries and pineapple made for an eclectic mix.

Other Commune specials include Sundowner Spritzer – mix of spritzer with aperol, fizz and
Malta. If you are a fan of fizzy and bubbly drinks, this drink is for you. And if you prefer tequila, go for it Picante “OkurrrMade with jalapeños, cilantro, and, of course, tequila.

I will be back for another round of the commune specials and will try Tiramisu design (With subtle flavors of tiramisu and brownie) I missed it this time.

Coming to the food, I first ordered their sushi platter and it was quite a sight. Beautifully plated on dry ice, the sushi looked and tasted really good. The chicken dimsum is also not to be missed. Next I ordered the Sriracha Chili Chicken, but I wasn’t impressed with it. However, the Garlic Butter Shrimp are more than made with delicious flavors.
