Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey have been players in the big matches and could qualify for Wales’ final group game against England in the Premier League Globalism Quarterback Joe Allen said Sunday that the trophy is over after failing to make an impact in their loss to Iran.
Bale, Wales’ most-capped player, had only one shot on goal against Iran while he and Ramsey were both sent off several times as the Asian side ran out 2-0 to put Rob Page’s side bottom of Group Two.

Bale is the only player to score against England in six meetings between the two sides in the 21st century. Allen said he and Ramsey, who bore the brunt of the criticism after losing to Iran, would both recover.
“They are two incredible, unbelievable players who have been for our country. I don’t think there’s anyone on the team who has reached the levels that they can,” Allen told reporters.
“It’s a huge game coming up. They’re big game players, and they always have been. I hope if any criticism goes their way, they’ll be able to answer a few of those critics with a high performance.”
Allen said he was ready to start after coming on as a late substitute against Iran, but Wales’ hopes of reaching the World Cup knockout stages for the first time in 64 years are hanging by a thread.
Even if Wales beat England for the first time since 1984, they will have to rely on the outcome between the US and Iran in the other match, but Allen said qualification is not out of the question.
“It’s a tough job, it’s always uncomfortable when it’s clearly out of your hands and you’re relying on certain things to unfold,” Allen said.
“But while there is still a chance, it is really simple for us. We are absolutely motivated, and we will sacrifice absolutely everything to win.
“Who knows, I hope that while there is still a chance to extricate ourselves from this group.”
Sunday marked the 11th anniversary of the day Wales international Gary Speed died and Allen paid tribute to the former national team manager.
“Gary was a great man. Often in the players’ thoughts, he was an inspiration, first of all as a player and then as a manager.
“He played a huge part in the beginning of the journey this team has undertaken and we remember him very fondly.”
