Bitcoin Drops Below $47,000, Ether Gains; Check out the full list

Cryptocurrency Price Today: The price of Bitcoin today, i.e. April 4, Monday, dropped a bit to drop below the $46,000 mark, as the global cryptocurrency market is also trading in the red. Of the top 10 cryptocurrencies, five traded in red that day. Bitcoin touched $47,000 on Monday, but fell after the early hours as analysts expected a price correction after the world’s largest cryptocurrency gained over the past few days. Recently, Bitcoin touched its highest level in three months after having surged in the past due to the volatility of the markets amid the Russia-Ukraine war, the policies of the Federal Reserve and the general mood of the market. However, in late March, Bitcoin along with the cryptocurrency market as a whole turned back to show gains.

Data from CoinMarketCap showed that one unit of Bitcoin today was at $46,164.05 at the time of writing this article. This has decreased by 0.60 percent in the past 24 hours. The price of Bitcoin is down 1.69 percent in the past seven days, according to the data.

“Bitcoin crossed $48,000 over the past week before dropping to $46,000 as selling volume picked up and traders took profits at the resistance level, which saw a slight price correction. On the daily time frame, BTC trend can be seen retesting the previous breakout level. Expected Next resistance is at $48,600 and next support is expected at $34,200,” WazirX Trade Desk said in a note to News18.com.

Ethereum, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency, gained a slight rally the day after recording a decline. The data showed that the price of Ether today was standing at $3,501.74 at the time of writing this article. This has increased by 0.30 percent in the past 24 hours, and by 5.48 percent in the past seven days.
