Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly signed a €500m (£432m) contract with Saudi club Al-Nasr, after parting ways by mutual consent from Manchester United.
According to a report published in the Spanish news outlet Marca, Ronaldo will receive 200 million euros annually for a contract until 2025. He is scheduled to sign with the Saudi club Al-Nasr, which is based in the capital, Riyadh.
Ronaldo has also been linked with Bayern Munich, where the five-time Ballon d’Or winner signed the German champions for free.
But Oliver Kahn, CEO of Bayern Munich, denied the rumors and ruled out the transfer of the Portuguese star.
“I can rule out Ronaldo’s transfer. We’ve looked at it, we all love Ronaldo but the strategy is different. We have a clear idea and philosophy on how to form our team,” Kahn told Sky Sports.
Ronaldo currently leads the Portugal national team in FIFA Globalism trophy and became the first man to score in the World Cup five times.
