Cryptocurrency exchange Binance to provide a guide on digital assets for students and investors; know more
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, on Friday announced a series of educational initiatives aimed at improving awareness about blockchain technology and digital assets among Indian investors, especially the student community. Through its three major educational initiatives, Binance hopes to provide investors with open access to the blockchain and crypto education.
As a follow-up to the Binance Campus BUIDLers program launched in October 2021, the platform has partnered with the Inter-Enterprise Innovation Center (i4c) to kick-start the idea of ’Blockchain for Good’. The collaboration will provide a platform for students attending different colleges across the country to come up with solutions that will make the blockchain space more inclusive and accessible to everyone.
As part of this initiative, Binance recently partnered with IIT Delhi and organized several cryptocurrency exchanges and an NFT (non-fungible token) art contest at the three-day ‘Rendezvous’ cultural festival from April 24 to April 26. Through this collaboration, it has spread awareness about the various uses of the blockchain such as NFT tickets, NFT certificates, fan tokens, and POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol), among others.
Binance has also announced that it will host a free and open-to-all webinar titled “Crypto for All” on May 1 at 6pm, where attendees will be taught basic concepts about Blockchain and cryptocurrency. The session will be attended by top financial influencers, including Neha Nagar, Kashif Raza and Aditya Saini. Those attending the seminar will be given a Certificate of Participation which will be issued via the blockchain by Binance NFT. In addition, Binance will organize various competitions at the webinar.
Contest winners will get gifts in Bitcoins and Binance Coin.
