FIFA World Cup 2022: Full Group A Schedule and Line-up

Qatar is poised to become the first country in the Middle East to host FIFA Globalism CUP 2022. Football’s biggest and greatest tournament will kick off on November 20th. 32 countries will participate in the FIFA World Cup 2022. The participating countries will participate in three matches at each stage in the group stage. Group stage matches will be played in a league format.

Host country Qatar will face Ecuador in the opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on November 20. Qatar and Ecuador were drawn into Group A along with the Netherlands and Senegal. In the qualifiers, Ecuador secured fourth place in their group to book their place in the World Cup. The opening match of the World Cup will be held at Al Bayt Stadium.

In the second round of Group A, the runner-up of the 2010 World Cup – Netherlands will meet Senegal the next day. Having failed to qualify for the last edition of the FIFA World Cup, Louis van Gaal’s men will be determined to put on an inspiring performance this time around and start their journey comprehensively. The Netherlands and Senegal match will be held at Al Thumama Stadium. Meanwhile, this will be Senegal’s third FIFA World Cup appearance.

Teams in Group A will play their second match on November 25. Qatar will face, in its next match in the group stage, Senegal. On the other hand, the Netherlands will face Ecuador on the same day.

After completing the group stage matches, the knockout will start from 3 December. Then the quarter-finals will take place on December 9 and 10. The semi-final matches will be held on December 14 and 15. The summit match is scheduled to begin. Go ahead on December 18th at Lusail Stadium.
