Message scheduling on Android
If you are an Android user, you can follow these simple steps:
Go to the Google Playstore and install the SKEDit app.
Enter the details required to register.
After registering, click on WhatsApp from the application menu.
Grant access permissions in the phone settings, using the following steps: Enable Accessibility > SKEDit > Toggle on Service > Grant Allow. Return to the application.
If you want to schedule a message, add the recipient’s name, enter message details and select the date and time. You can even set the frequency of messages to daily, weekly, and monthly.
Make sure all details are correct before hitting the schedule message button. Alternatively, you can also select the “Ask me before sending” option. This way you will receive a notification before the message is sent.
How to schedule on iPhone
If you want to schedule messages on your iPhone, have a look at the steps below:
From the Apple App Store for your iPhone, install the SKEDit app.
Open the app and click on the Automation button.
Click the + symbol and then click Create Personal Automation.
After creating your personal automation, press Time of Day to schedule your automation.
Next, choose the date and time to send WhatsApp messages. Click {Next.
Select “Add an action”, and go to the search bar by typing “text”. From the drop-down menu, select “Text”.
Fill in the message details in the text field.
Select the + icon below the text field. From the popup, type “WhatsApp” in the search bar.
When the drop-down menu appears, choose “Send a message via WhatsApp”. Select the recipient’s name and then switch to Next > Done.
You will be notified by the application when the message is scheduled. After clicking on the notification, you will find yourself in the scheduled campaign message window and after that you can click on Submit.
