Refrigerator is useful Product for Every home And this product used in every home. Sometimes it contains an error code. We can fix some error codes at home and we need to call a technician to fix some error codes. | F25 | Freezer evaporator NTC sensor open / short circuit |
| E0 | Ice maker fault. The ice maker in my appliance is not working correctly. |
| E1 | Refrigerator sensor fault. |
| E2 | Freezer sensor fault. The compartment temperature in my freezer is incorrect. |
| E3 | Defrost sensor fault. The compartment temperature in my fridge is incorrect. Advice: We recommend you check that the drain pipe and under sink plumbing for any blockages. |
| E4 | Fridge defrost sensor fault. The compartment temperature in my fridge is incorrect. |
| E5 | Freezer defrost sensor fault. The compartment temperature in my freezer is incorrect. |
| E6 | Main control board and display board fault. The display or controls on my appliance are not operating correctly. |
| E7 | Environmental temperature sensor fault. A number of things affecting the temperature in your appliance could be happening if you see this error code displayed. |
| E8 | Enviromental temperature sensor fault. A number of things affecting the temperature in your appliance could be happening if you see this error code displayed. |
| E9 | Freezer high temperature alarm. The freezer door may have been left open which has resulted in the food in freezer defrosting. Advice: Please check to see if your door is closed properly. |
| EE | Ice maker circuit fault. The ice maker in my appliance is not working correctly. |
Hotpoint Refrigerator Troubleshooting
If the appliance does not work, before calling for Assistance (see Assistance), check for a solution from the following list.
| Malfunctions | Possible causes / Solutions |

| The internal light does not illuminate. | The plug has not been inserted into the electrical socket, or not far enough to make contact, or there is no power in the house. |
| The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well. | The doors do not close properly or the seals are damaged. • The doors are opened too frequently. • The TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob is not in the correct position • The refrigerator or the freezer have been over-filled. |
| The food inside the refrigerator is beginning to freeze. | • The TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob is not in the correct position. • The food is in contact with the back inside wall of the refrigerator. |
| The motor runs continuously | The door is not closed properly or is continuously opened. • The outside ambient temperature is very high. • The thickness of the frost exceeds 2-3 mm (see Maintenance). |
| The appliance makes a lot of noise. | • The appliance has not been installed on a level surface (see Installation). • The appliance has been installed between cabinets that vibrate and make noise. • The internal refrigerant makes a slight noise even when the compressor is off. This is not a defect, it is normal. |
| There is water at the bottom of the refrigerator. | The water discharge hole is blocked (see Maintenance). |
| Excess moisture / Ice at rear of the Fridge | Excess moisture / Ice will occur if the Larder door is opened for prolonged periods. This will disappear once the door is closed and the Larder allowed to defrost and drain the moisture away. This is normal for cooling function of the Larder compartment, especially in summer period. |
| Warm Fridge | If room temperature is 16 C or lower, (for example the product is located in a garage or out building), for the refrigerator to operate correctly the “Fast Freeze switch” must be in the ‘ON’ position (see pag 7 for details) |
| The back wall of the refrigator unit is covered in frost or droplets of water | This shows the appliance is operating normally |

The refrigerator should be placed in a place where there is ventilation (ventilation mean = Air Crossing).
