Vin Diesel honors Paul Walker on the ninth anniversary of his death: ‘I love and miss you’

Vin Diesel remembered his late friend and actor Paul Walker on the ninth anniversary of his death.

The fast and angry The actor shared a throwback photo on his Instagram on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. In the caption, he wrote, “Nine years… I love you and miss you.”

Walker died on November 30, 2013, in a car accident. He was 40 years old. Since he was in the middle of filming Fast 7 at the time, Paul’s brothers Caleb and Cody were hired to stand in for him for the remainder of production, before his face was digitally superimposed onto their bodies, via People.

Last year, Diesel honored his memory by sharing a touching note about how he’ll “never forget” Walker’s words when he was grieving while filming the fourth Fast and Furious movie.

“When we finished filming that day, I walked into my trailer and asked, ‘What’s on your mind? You always knew when something was on my mind. Haha. I told you I was about to have a baby and didn’t know what to expect in my mind.'” The hospital I was heading to after work.”

“You said a lot of strong men would tell you to wait outside the delivery room,” he said of the advice Walker gave him when Diesel’s daughter was born. “But it’s wrong. Get in there, cut the umbilical cord already and it will be the best day of your life.”

“Of course, you were speaking from experience, and indeed you have your own angel. The tragedies in life are always followed by the blessings of life if you stay Open minded and have faith.”

Cody added, “I can’t predict what he might think, I just know that Finn always takes a very serious approach with Paul’s heritage in mind and he’s always done a really great job honoring his character.” “They worked together and were brothers for years. They were all very young when this thing first started.”
