Pakistani fashion designer Maheen Khan recently announced the return of her Lux Style Awards after Feroz Khan was nominated and subsequently won at the event.

The distinguished designer asserted, “In all good conscience, I can no longer associate myself with an event that ignores their plight. I will be returning my LUX Awards in solidarity with those who continue to suffer the violation of their basic human right to live free from violence.”
“It is a sad day because I wished the Luxe Style Prize was not just a champion of elegance but a platform that promoted justice for women and stood out as a proud beacon of hope for every child and woman who was violated.”
