Rishabh Pant has been the center of attention for a while now and from captaining an Indian team earlier in the year, things have now taken a turn for the worse with hype over the heavy-hitter’s place in India’s white-ball team. While in the Tests, Pant had already played some memorable knocks with an average of 43 at a strike rate of 72 and his ODI record not too poor either with an average of 35 batting at 107.54. The concern though is the T20Is as the left-hander averages 22 with a strike rate of 126.37 in the 66 T20s he has played so far.
Although being fair to him, Pant didn’t get a steady run in the T20I side late on and even his batting position is yet to be fixed.
