It was a quiet end from the Saudi striker to overtake Argentine Emiliano Martinez.
Many feel it should be classed as the biggest upset in the history of the FIFA World Cup as Argentina started the match as favorites with a 36 match unbeaten streak which eventually ended on the biggest stage.

“Sometimes all the stars are in a row. Today, all the stars lined up for us,” said Saudi-French coach Herve Renard.
He added, “We made history in football. It will remain forever, this is the most important thing. But we also have to think about looking forward. We still have two difficult games ahead of us.”
Earlier, in the first half, Argentina took control of the match, but a hat-trick of goals from outside the team could hurt them badly after the result they just witnessed.
