Pakistan did not have the perfect start to the tournament as they suffered nervous defeats against them India and Zimbabwe in the Super 12 stage. However, after facing criticism from all angles, the Pakistani players have put their campaign back on track with some great performances. They did not rely on individual wits to cross the line as the bowling unit put together a team effort on the field and the hitters also started to regain rhythm at the end of the business for the tournament.
