Former Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar gave his support to Babar Azam & Co. ahead of the massive T20 Globalism Cup final against England in Melbourne cricket a land. Pakistan did not have the perfect start to the tournament as they suffered nervous defeats against them India and Zimbabwe in the Super 12 stage. However, after facing criticism from all angles, the Pakistani players have put their campaign back on track with some great performances. They did not rely on individual wits to cross the line as the bowling unit put together a team effort on the field and the hitters also started to regain rhythm at the end of the business for the tournament.

Pakistan lifted the T20 World Cup again in 2009, and close last year too but Matthew Wade ended their dreams in the semi-finals. However, this time they fought against all odds to reach the end.

England and Pakistan, who featured here in the 50-year World Cup Final 30 years ago, entered the title fight with impressive semi-final victories. It was a team show from the team where weak players like Babar Azam and Mohamed Radwan stood up on a very important day to help their team find a place in the final.

And their return to the championship was led by Bowling the new ball, led by left arm player Shaheen Shah Afridi, while Mohammed Waseem Junior and goalkeeper Raouf supported him well.
