Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 will be hosted on December 13, while the semi-finals will be staged on December 15. The Grand Finals are scheduled for December 17.

The announcement was made during the Hyderabad station launch conference of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9 on Thursday. Finishing off the high octane legs in Bengaluru and Pune respectively, the 12 franchises will battle it out at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium until December 10, 2022, to find a spot in the playoffs.

Speaking on the announcement of the Playoff and Final venue for Season 9 of PKL, Anupam Goswami, Chairman sports Commissioner of Leagues, torchbearer of sports and commissioner of the Pro Kabaddi League said, “Mumbai has always been a sports-loving city and especially a Kabaddi-loving city. Hence, we are very excited to stage the matches of Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 and Final in the City of Dreams.

“Of course, ahead of the qualifiers and the final, our main focus will be entertaining the fans in Hyderabad. I am looking forward to the kabadda fans in Hyderabad to get the most out of watching their favorite stars in the stadium after a break of three years,” said Goswami.

Telugu Titans Head Coach Venkatesh Joud said the fans in Hyderabad will motivate the team to put in good performances in the second leg of PKL Season 9, “We are very excited to play in front of our fans in Hyderabad. The fans will surely motivate us to put in great performances and we can’t wait to have fun.” We hope to achieve our goals in our city.”

The match between Buneri Baltan and Haryana Steelers will be the starting point for the rivalry as both sides have claimed victories in their previous matches. While forward Aslam Inamdar will lead the offense from the Pune side, the Steelers will strike forward Manjeet.

The Telugu Titans will be keen to impress their fans, however, as they will face a strong challenge from Bengal Raiders and Warriors Maninder Singh and Shrikant Jadhav.

The Bengaluru team will be looking to continue their formidable form, but Gujarat Giants raiders Rakesh and Chandran Ranjit will pose a serious challenge for the Bulls on Friday.
