Padma Shri Kailash Manav, founder of Santhan Club, welcomed the guests and teams and expressed his gratitude to DCCI, calling this tournament a source of pride for Udaipur and Rajasthan. Giving information about the tournament, Narayan Seva Santhan’s chief informs Prashant Agarwal that this is the 4th National Championship of various sports organized by Santhan in Udaipur.

Earlier, Santhan organized Blind Cricket Tournament once and Swimming Tournament twice. He said Santhan is working on the project for the Para National Sports Academy in Dabok. Alli Sharma, Secretary of the Rajasthan State Council of Sports, said that “Resources don’t matter, intentions do. Struggles will come in life, but those who pave the way are different people, and you are the most important among them.” He said the highest priority is given to Paralympic Sports in Rajasthan.

Ravikant Chauhan, Secretary of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the central government attaches sufficient importance to sports for the disabled in determining sports policies. In the BCCI also, a separate committee has been set up to develop Divyang cricket. A 10-10 friendly match between India A and India B started with batting by Umashankar Sharma, Rajasthan Special-Abled Commissioner (Minister of State), and bowling by Sansthan President Prashant.

Earlier in the morning, district collector Tarachand Meena met the captains and players from all 16 teams participating in the tournament. He said that sports are of great importance in the all-round development of life. He described the special abilities of the players and said that they made records in various fields. Secretary of the Sports Council, Dr. G. Somjeet Singh’s team with President Sansthan Prashant Agarwal lit the lamp. Guests on the ground raised the national flag and saluted from the march past the participating teams.
