Recently, another such video caught the attention of the internet and attracted a lot of eyeballs online. A video from inside the New York subway surfaced online and went viral. The clip was shared by user @Phil_Lewis_ on Twitter. The viral video has more than 1.5 million views and 66,000 likes since it was shared. Read the caption for the post, “New York is a special place.”
In the video, we can see a crowded subway train in New York. The interesting thing is how the riders were able to prepare a table full of delicious food for Thanksgiving. “Tonight on the L train, we have food for everyone,” read the video’s title text. The L train also refers to the elevated train route of the L New York subway. Thanksgiving is celebrated all over the world on November 24, and a usual part of the festivities is the delicious feast. In the New York subway’s fiesta version, people were serving up packaged foods like mac and cheese, beans, pumpkin, and more. People have even arranged disposable plates, paper napkins and shareable drinks as part of Thanksgiving.
Surprisingly, the video got a large number of comments from netizens. Many wanted to know how this Thanksgiving was arranged inside the New York subway. “Grocery is insanely expensive right now, so that’s right amazing. “God bless the people who decide to do this,” said one user while another asked, “Why doesn’t this happen when I take the L train?”
