Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro were launched on Tuesday by the Chinese smartphone maker alongside its flagship Vivo X90 series. Vivo’s next generation Wireless Earbuds (TWS) offers improved noise cancellation in both models compared to their predecessors, the Vivo TWS 2 series. Both TWS 3 models come with support for Qualcomm’s aptX Lossless codec that uses a 1.2Mbps bit rate along with Wide range speakers cover sounds in the range from 5 Hz to 40 kHz. The earbuds are equipped with a single 12.2mm driver with triple-layer nanocomposite diaphragm.

The newly launched Vivo TWS 3 is priced at CNY 500 (roughly Rs. 5,750), while the Vivo TWS 3 Pro earbuds are priced at CNY 1,000 (roughly Rs. 11,500).

The earphones are available for pre-order in China. Vanilla Vivo TWS 3 will go on sale on November 30th. Meanwhile, Vivo’s next-generation true wireless earbuds, the Pro model, will go on sale from December 6.

The next-generation TWS earbuds from the Chinese smartphone maker in the Vivo TWS 3 and Vivo TWS 3 Pro lead by upgrading the levels of noise cancellation from their predecessors. The Vivo TWS 3 model features noise reduction of up to 48dB, handling sounds with a frequency of up to 4000Hz. Meanwhile, the Vivo TWS 3 Pro models reduce noise by 49dB. The company also says that the Pro model is designed to produce low distortion with a total harmonic distortion plus noise (TNS + N) value of 0.002 percent or less.

Both earbuds are equipped with a 12.2mm driver with a 3-layer nano-composite diaphragm, according to Vivo. It features aptX Lossless 1.2Mbps support, which means it can be used to listen to higher quality audio tracks.

Vivo says the earphones are capable of playing sounds ranging from 5Hz to 40kHz. On the connectivity side, both models feature support for Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio, which helps reduce latency to 55ms. The models also feature 360-degree spatial audio.

Vivo’s next-generation earphones feature a matching stem design equipped with facilities that double as pressure-sensitive control panels, similar to OnePlus Buds Pro And the An apple AirPod: You can press the stem to pause and resume playback, or swipe up and down to change volume levels like AirPods Pro (2022).

Other interesting features on the Vivo TWS 3 and Vivo TWS 3 Pro models include ANC noise level adjustments that are triggered to match the user’s surroundings with leeway to improve human speech that is recognized while speaking to the wearer. The earbuds also feature high-quality binaural audio recording, which uses three microphones per bud that are used simultaneously for ANC during calls, according to Vivo.

The vanilla Vivo TWS 3 earphones with ANC disabled provide 10 hours of audio playback on a single charge while providing a total listening time of up to 40 hours with the charging case. Meanwhile, the Vivo TWS 3 Pro earbuds with ANC clocked in for 6.8 hours on audio playback while they last 30 hours with the charging case.
