Cryptocurrency exchange WazirX has announced a partnership with insights-led customer engagement platform MoEngage to advance Web3 and crypto adoption in India.
In its announcement through an official release, WazirX said, utilizing MoEngage’s efficiency in trip staging and campaign optimization, it aims to create and maintain digital touchpoints to help customers embrace coding and Web3. WazirX will use AI-driven insights in order to advance course corrections to its customers whenever the need arises. .
WazirX said it aims to raise the bar for customer support and app promotion regarding the crypto industry in India, using MoEngage services. The company added that it is dedicated to enabling the transition from a centralized to a decentralized world which will open up greater investment avenues for Indian clients.
Commenting on the partnership, Rajagopal Menon, Vice President of Marketing, WazirX said, “We aim to position India At the forefront of the cryptocurrency revolution by continuously innovating, building the most secure, reliable, and user-friendly crypto exchange platform, and helping the industry develop a regulated ecosystem.”
Menon said that using MoEngage’s deep retail capabilities, WazirX intends to develop as a brand and expand its marketing initiative by creating a seamless customer journey experience.

Launched in 2017, WazirX is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in India. The platform has a user base of over 10 million users.
WazirX released the second edition of its semi-annual transparency report last month, and last month said it closed 17,218 accounts during the October 21-March 22 period. About 73 percent of these activities were paid for by users while the rest was started by WazirX due to payment disputes or requests from law enforcement agencies.
The company received 1,023 requests from law enforcement agencies regarding inquiries of a criminal nature. Of these, 952 were from Indian law enforcement agencies while 71 were from foreign agencies.
