Xiaomi Outfolding smartphone prototype leaked via Twitter: all the details

Xiaomi’s prototype smartphone has been leaked online recently. The prototype, teased by Kuba Wojciechowski, hints at a Xiaomi smartphone with outward folding capability. The speckled prototype comes with a Snapdragon 855 processor with X50 modem to support the 5G network. The guide stated that “the apparatus was top secret and very few units made their way into the public”. The patent for the foldable phone was first spotted out in 2020. Meanwhile, internal testing of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro has reportedly started in different countries in Asia.

In a recent leak made by tipster Kuba Wojciechowski via Twitter, the prototype of Xiaomi’s foldable smartphone has been spotted. As mentioned earlier, the prototype is said to come with Snapdragon 855 with X50 modem to support 5G. The tweet also mentioned that the smartphone was “top secret and very few units are making their way into the public.”

Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro both feature a triple rear camera setup along with a hole-punch cutout in the center on the screen to house the selfie camera. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is said to have a 6.7-inch E6 LTPO display with a 2K resolution.

Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro can display curved screens. The Xiaomi Mi 13 is expected to measure 152.8 x 71.5 x 8.3mm, while the camera bump will measure 10.3mm thick.
