“He (SKY) is the kind of guy who doesn’t carry any luggage with him. Not his bags, I mean he’s got a lot of bags. Honestly, he loves to shop. But when it comes to taking that extra pressure, I don’t think he has that. You see it when he plays.” Rohit said in the pre-match press conference.

Speaking about the importance of these knockout fixtures, Rohit said that a bad knockout match cannot determine the careers of loyal cricketers who have served Indian cricket for a long time.
“I think knockout matches are important. Because you only play once and there is one chance to do well in that knockout game. But for players, what they’ve done throughout their career doesn’t define them by just one knockout game. You know the whole year that You work hard in it and do well in whatever format you want to play. So this particular game isn’t going to decide that. I think we understand the importance of the knockout, but at the same time it’s important to realize the kind of effort you put in in a whole year to get to that point” .
“For us as a player and as a team, we can be proud of ourselves because we have seen two outstanding teams eliminated.”
