Croatia coach Zlatko Dalic named his name Globalism Cup lineup on Wednesday, the 2018 runner-up, led by veteran captain Luka Modric.

Dalic led the team to the final four years ago, where they lost to France, a historic achievement for a country of 3.9 million people.
“We are optimistic and we have a reason, but we have to be realistic,” Dalic told reporters as he introduced his 26-man squad.
The 56-year-old added, “We will go step by step. We are somewhat confident in ourselves after the Nations League matches.”
In September, they secured their place in the last four Nations League matches.
“There is no pressure, no great euphoria. The first match will be the most important,” said Dalic.
“Now we think (how to) pass the group first,” he added.
Croatia will play Morocco in their opening Group F match on November 23rd, before facing Canada and Belgium.
Modric, 37, recently said he would end his international career after the World Cup in Qatar.
Aside from the Real Madrid star, veteran defenders include Dumaguey Vida and Dejan Lovren, both of whom Dalic confirmed are in good shape.
When asked to compare the team to the team that existed four years ago, Dalic said the team then “played together for ten years before being rewarded in Russia”.
“They are strong and capable, but (Croatia’s success) would not be possible without their seniors.”
