With the Twitter layoffs emerging, many (now laid-off) Twitter employees have taken to Twitter to spread their final farewells and express gratitude. It has now been confirmed that Elon Musk Enforce layoffs to save operating costs.

In a tweet he said: “Regarding Twitter’s reduction in power, unfortunately there is no choice when the company is losing more than $4 million a day.” He added: “Everyone who was discharged from service received compensation for a period of 3 months, which is 50% more than the amount required by law.”

The company is prepared to face a class-action lawsuit to lay off employees without warning. Meanwhile, as employees (including those based in India) are gradually discovering their fate, many have begun tweeting about their journey on Twitter and their emotional state.

According to TechCrunch, a class action lawsuit has been filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California alleging that the federal Workers’ Retraining Amendment and Notice Act and the California Warning Act, both of which require 60 days’ notice, are broken.
