i am use always VT9 thermostat we should open his thermostat cover and see thermostat connection and do again same connection with new thermostat.

VT9 thermostat have 4 Point

Earth : here connect earth wire 

No 3 : here Connect Heater wire

No 4 : here Connect Main wire 

No 6 : here Connect compressor wire
